My name is Alan Smith and currently live in the beautiful state of Ohio, Having been  Born and raised here has armed me with the knowledge of the many landscapes, swamps and woodland forest that many critters call home. Many places I trek in search of subjects to photograph are the same areas I explored when I was very young.

I currently am employed as a graphics artist and most of my work is in the advertising industry, Part of my duties include managing a IT department amongst other computer & network related chores.

My knowledge of graphics design and my love for the art of photography has rewarded myself with many of my images being published in advertising circulars, wood carvers who have used my images as models for their craft. Many of my images have won various photo contest from well known birding magazines abroad.

Join me in 2010 as i travel & photograph the diverse wildlife that call the scenic Ohio valley home. I will also share with you the beautiful landscape & cityscape rich in history
